Why Nikolas Cassadine is not the right guy for Elizabeth!!!

Now I am not going to go on this huge long rant about Nikolas and my dislike for him, but I will go through the reasons to why Nikolas Cassadine isn’t the right choice for Elizabeth. Now all my data I will be providing you with if from 2003 to the present, with a little of 1997-1998/1999. Basically all the date is from when Tyler Christopher was in the role. Just so we get that cleaned up from the start.

Now let us take it back to 2003, Nikolas and Emily both arrive back in town and Emily get back together with her old boyfriend Zander. Nikolas falls for Emily, but Emily is taken. Then when she is actually married to Zander and in remission from her cancer her and Nikolas sleep together. Of course Zander went and slept with Elizabeth, but we are on to Nikolas. This isn’t the first time he’s done it either. Years later, after his marriage to Emily fall apart and they try to restart, things don’t work out. Nikolas ends up falling for… wait for it… a married woman. This woman being Courtney Jacks, letter it turned out her marriage to Jax or Jason wasn’t actually legal, really? After Courtney and Jax break up Nikolas and Courtney get cozy, oh wait Courtney also finds out she’s pregnant. She isn’t sure who the baby’s father is. After a long who’s the daddy storyline, it’s finally reveled that Nikolas is the baby’s father. That baby named Spencer Cassadine, after Nikolas’s mother’s family and his brother and sister, because he loves them so much. After Courtney’s death Nikolas is left raising Spencer all by himself, only for Emily to return back into his life. Everything almost seems like it’s perfect, they were going to get married again and live happily ever after. Only Emily’s killed and Nikolas has a brain tumor.

Nikolas claimed to love Emily too much he was willing to let the brain tumor kill him so he could be with her, then save himself to be with his son. After he finally lets go of Emily and saves himself, he ends up falling for nurse Nadine Crowell. Only for Emily twin sister to come to town, Nadine is forgotten about and Nikolas wants to play pretend you are Emily with me. Which leads to the kiss at Jakes with Elizabeth. He tries to be with Emily’s twin, but he now as some sort of feelings for Elizabeth, obsession really. After Emily’s twin leaves town, he starts hooking up with Elizabeth while she is with his brother Lucky and engaged to his brother. Elizabeth finds out she’s pregnant, Nikolas is claimed to be the father and Nikolas actually remembers he has a son, but he’ll do better this time around with their new baby. The baby isn’t really Nikolas’s that is found out later. Nikolas ends up hooking up with Brooklyn who’s he’s sister’s age that is a little creepy. Only to end up leaving town in the end. Now if he claims to love Elizabeth so much, who’s to stay he isn’t going to do to her what he did to Emily and Nadine? He cheated on Emily with Courtney, also slept with Emily while she was married to Zander. Slept with Courtney while she was married to Jax. Slept with Elizabeth while engaged to Lucky. There is this old saying, once a cheater always a cheater…. I wouldn’t trust that man in a committed relationship. (Though everything that happened after Emily’s death was all because he was grieving over Emily. He just couldn’t help things; it was all because of Emily’s death. Funny how that isn’t the excuse anymore.)

Not only all of the above, but he’s also a hypocritical, judgmental, holier than thou asshole. There are been more times he has told someone something and then gone back and did it himself like there was nothing wrong with it. So lets point out some things shall we?

2007 – Nikolas and Sam got into a fight, sure part of it was because Nikolas had an anger issues with was later found out to be the tumor in his brain. But he went and yelled at Sam saying “Lucky threw away his entire family because of you” because Lucky went and slept with Sam while still married to Elizabeth and then after they agreed to break up, Lucky chose to be with Sam. I’m sure there was some part of him that wanted to yell at her too. Not to mention he got all preachy on Sam about how she wasn’t helping matters when it came to Liz and Lucky’s marriage. How she needed to stay away so they can work things out.

Here is a great quote “You come on to Lucky, you get to have your fun, but Lucky he throws away his family for the second and last time. In the end he’s the one that’s sorry.” Nikolas says to Sam… funny sounds like what you did with Elizabeth. Nikolas got to sleep wit Elizabeth and have his fun wit Elizabeth, yet when the truth came out she lost Lucky and ended up in a mental hospital.

Some more great quote. Nikolas: Now you show up at Sam’s apartment ready to throw it all away. Lucky: Just stop passing judgment on me…. Yes Lucky he is passing judgment, and he is continuing to do it. Why because that is who is he. He thinks he’s better then anyone and gives advice but never takes his own.

“But who am I, I’m just your brother trying to keep you from ruining your life yet again.” Funny where was this guy when he was sleeping with his brothers girl?

“You go ahead, you spit on everything you have left, but when it’s all gone don’t come crying to me” yet you can go crying to everyone else when you’ve lost everything?

2005 – During the time Courtney and Nikolas were sleeping together. Nikolas and Lucky fought outside of Kelly after Lucky goes and starts trashing Courtney right in front of him. One quote that pops out is this one “Did it occurs to either one of you that lives would be ruined.” My dear Lucky it never occurs to Nikolas that what he does ruins lives. He just does what he does and takes what he wants.

Here is another great one “You're obsessed by another women” how right you are Lucky. That is what Nikolas relationship are now, they are just his obsessions. He doesn’t really care about these women; he is just obsessed with them and thinks he does.

2008 – Should I never go into how Nikolas wanted to stay with a figment of his imagination and then be with his son? How he didn’t want to live without Emily, yet he had a son alive and well ready to be with his father after all that kids first year of his life was being part of one family and then another. Yeah so much for that not being able to live with out Emily. He seems to be doing just fine now. Though it was a nice touch in 2009/2010 having everything Nikolas did because he was still grieving over Emily’s death. Emily died in 2007, and he’s still grieving? Give me a fucking break, no one grieves that not, not on a soap at least. Not to mention he didn’t seem to be grieving over Emily after his relationship with Nadine got deeper. He seemed to be doing just fine in life.

2010 – Now all of a sudden… well after a kiss a Jake’s and a few other kisses, plus some nights of horror, I mean sex, he’s in love with Elizabeth? Again give me a fucking break. The only love Nikolas feels for Elizabeth his love for a friend, since yet they have been friends for a very long time. Sure there is love at first sight, but again they have known each other forever and now after all these years he’s known he’s cared about her? Okay so there was this one time they kissed when Nikolas had a crush on her, but that was shut down. Honestly it was like a while after Lucky was believed to be killed in a fire. What is it with the deaths of people they love and Nikolas wanting to kiss and hook up with Elizabeth? I’m sorry not buying this whole he’s always been in love with Elizabeth. One that is a smack in the fast to just about every fandom Nikolas is a part of, and an even bigger slap to the face to Emily. You know the women he claimed was the love of his life. (I guess you can argue on a soap there are no loves of each others lives, but this is what we call endgame my friend.)

These are only a few things, I’m sure if I go back in time I can find way more out there. Nikolas believes he’s above it all and nothing to touch him. Yet he’ll go around and yell other people what to do, or rather what they should be doing. Not to mention judge them if they don’t listen to him. So no Nikolas isn’t the right guy for Elizabeth, doesn’t really mean any other guy she’s been with is really the right guy, but at least they are better then Nikolas. He choses not to own up to his mistakes, he just blames something else. (Maybe once or twice he has, but has he owned up to the part he played in the affair with Elizabeth?) … He also believes he should be the one to win Elizabeth love and affection. Boy you won’t win it, your earn it. She is not a prize to be won, she is a person and deserves respect and for you to work for it. Don’t even think about saying you are the better man, because just me you are not and you never will be.

So take your Greek Prince ass and go back to Greece.

More Power To Him???

Lulu I love you I do, but did you really tell Olivia that it's none of your business and if it gets on Sonny's nerves more power to him? Has your hate for Sonny really clouded your judgment that much? I mean back when your found out Dante was a cop you tried to WARN Johnny to be careful around Dante. And that was before you said I love you to Dante. I guess hating Sonny and loving Dante has really made you not look at the bigger picture. Not to mention when she was with Johnny she use to try and convince him out of a lot of things. So why is this time different? Why because she's in love with Dante and hates Sonny? ... I mean Maxie is her friend and trying to talk her out of all types of crazy things she does.... But I guess it's different because they are best friends.... where as Johnny is her ex. So because she once dated him they can't be friends and over each other advice?

Not to mention Lulu you know what Sonny is capable of. He tried to Kill Johnny to get Anthony to come out into the open, during the Black and White Ball. He locked Johnny up when he though Claudia and Johnny had something to do with Micheal vanishing. He tried to kill Johnny on the Pier, well at least pointed a gun at him. He called Claudia out in front of everyone in Port Charles on her birthday no less. Shot Dante a point blank range. Not to mention you know he's a killer. Yet by all means say more power to him if he gets under Sonny's skin.

Lulu you know this isn't going to end well at all. And I guess the fact you care for Johnny means nothing to you anymore, if you aren't willing to a least talk to him, or maybe ask him what is going on. Because I am sure when Johnny gets hurt or someone else because of this whole thing you are going to kick yourself. If not Then I'll kick you ass, because you could have at least tried to say something to him.

It just annoys me to no end because it feels like they are trying to push away the Jolu love. I mean sure Johnny might try and tell her he's not going to stop. Or maybe he'd tell her the truth, either way their e showing the connection that Johnny and Lulu have. It's almost like they aren't even friends anymore. Like they need to avoid each other. What is up with that? It's been a year, she forgave Maxie for all that happened, she tried to convince Johnny to watch his back around Dante, and have actually had conversations that didn't end in evil death stares. Not to mention celebrated Johnny's testimony together at Jakes. They should be able to get together and talk ever once and away. And Lulu should be able to say I'll talk to him. Because if she says she still cares about what happens to him, which she did, she told Dante she still cares what happens to him, why id she saying this isn't her place?

I'm sure on many levels it isn't her place, but if you know possible out comes for this, why can't she at least try? Why because she's too busy praising Dante for being the hero of the day? The one that does everything right... And hating on Sonny who does everything wrong. Okay we get it Sonny Mobster BAD... Dante cop GOOD. So why did the Mob run the town for 4 years before Dante showed up? And why now is it all of the sudden COP are the GOOD guys... or rather DANTE'S the damn hero and yet Lucky and mac who have been cops in Port Charles are low level scum? because if I remember correctly Lucky was trying to help Dante get Michael of Pentonville. But I guess it means nothing. I mean after all Lucky not really the cop type anyways... Why give him any credit for anything.

You know I love Certain couples and characters on GH I do, but sometime hey drive me up a wall. And I could get all sorts of crap for certain things... but I don't care because no one if perfect on the show. Not a couple or a character. They all suck at one point in time. Sometimes some more so then other, but they do I swear. Just needed to let that out.

Different Since When?

I am starting to see that storyline don't change, just the characters in the storyline. Maybe I should know this since I've been watching GH now for 7 years. Yeah it's not that long, but I have seen four kidnappings, two are they really dead, Five WTD storyline, two with the same character.

And one I noticed is the same or rather really similar was the Dante, Brook and Lulu one. Carly is doing it to "protect" Lulu from the cheater that is Dante, but in reality she's doing it to hurt both Lulu and Dante for Micheal going to jail. Flash back to 2008. Claudia was willing to pay Maxie to sleep with Johnny and have Lulu catch her in the act to keep Johnny and Lulu apart. And Maxie was game, why because she hated Lulu at the time and wanted to sleep with Johnny. (Maybe there is more to it, but that is what I saw.)

Also for Lulu this isn't the first time she's begged for her boyfriends life via Carly. She begged Carly to keep Sonny from killing Johnny and now had begged Carly to keep Jason from killing Dante. I actually just remember that tonight.

And this Patrick, Lisa, Steve Crap? Yes i said crap not the biggest scrubs fan and I will say I do want them apart, but come on have we not learned from the Leyla storyline? Sticking someone in middle of the two of them is asking for trouble. Either give the couple a real freakin storyline like I don't know something that involves Emma or maybe even Noah or Robert or Anna or a simple family problem. That could make they stronger or tare them apart. But come on this whole Patrick someone else... been there done that. Robin will get mad they will fight. And by 2011 Robin and Patrick will be happy again if not sooner. Just give them something that actually I don't know is worthy of them if not them then KIM.

And Maxie and Lucky? I'm sorry I didn't believe them when Greg was playing Lucky, and I sure don't believe them now. I never wanted to see them together... maybe in and Alternate Reality where the mob really doesn't run the town..... but that ain't Port Charles and I don't want to see Mucky 2.0 it just doesn't fly for me. Pair Maxie up with someone that doesn't have kid drama. When I say kid Drama I mean his brother thinking he is the baby father when he's really not. Just pair up Maxie with Matt and have them get it on for a while. Matt needs so lovin. Lucky can be without it for a while. I love my Lucky, but I rather his without love then with Maxie.

And another thing while we are on the Subject of Lucky... haven't we learned from when Courtney was pregnant with Spencer, and Elizabeth with Jake, that the truth always comes out. Not to mention Helena sucks at keeping being hostage, because didn't Courtney escape her. Come on the women's been with Lucky, Rick and Jason and was friends with Sonny.... If you want us to believe that Elizabeth's not going to be able to fight Helena at all, you have another thing coming. But since History does repeat it's self. good lucky Helena in trying to steal that Spencer baby. Don't be surprised if I face in your face when you fail.... EPICALLY.

Five Things To Know About Watching a Soap Opera

So decided to put together a little list of things that you should know when getting invested into a Daytime Soap Opera. Lets just called it a 5 step guide in a way to watching Soap Operas. Maybe not everything you need to know is in these fives thing, but everything you need to know to stay sane while watching is. It's your guide to not go crazy.

1) Never and I mean NEVER is a good thing when your favorite couple has become an air hog. Because even if they are happy, if they stay on screen for a long time or become an air hog, trust me it means something is coming and most of the time it's never good. A Soap Opera plus happy couple means no air time. So believe me when i say if your not happy about no airtime you're going to be even more unhappy with MORE airtime. It's not possible to have a happy couple, because in the end to much happiness ends up getting BORING and people will stop turning in, so that is why they throw something in the mix. That and to cause Drama, since it is called a DAYTIME DRAMA. Someone gets hurt, dies, or gets involved in an affair, lies, cheats. You name it and it will happen. in the end MORE AIRTIME = THE END.

2) You always, ALWAYS want your least favorite or most hated Couple to have all the airtime. Let them be the air hogs, because the sooner they get the airtime, the sooner something bad happens and it ends it all. Like I said in the first one, MORE AIRTIME = THE END. So if you can sit through letting them have all the airtime then in then you'll get what you want and they'll be over and on to a new couple or back to the couple you love. Most times it's on to a new couple, but sometimes they'll back track and pair up old lovers again. But trust me suffer through the horrible couple and in the end ..... MORE AIRTIME = THE END

3) Grand kids. Yeah if a Parents kids have kid, that said parents will vanish. Don't know if it's like a rule or strange coincidence, but when someone becomes a grandparent on a soap, they start fade into the backdrop, till they are either forgotten or shown like every blue moon. Though I think Erika Kane is the only exception to the rule. (But could be wrong). Have Noticed that once there is a grand kid then they will fade away... I mean looked at General Hospital Bobbie, or Mike... both seem to found their way into the background... just like Audrey. (Though now the actress is retired), before she had seem to find her way into the background too, when Cameron can into the picture if not before and those are just the ones I can think of right now. But I'm sure if you really think about it and look at the different families you'll see it too.

4) On Screen Death. If there is one thing I have learned is that a Death that isn't on screen is easier to rewrite then a death on screen (unless of course it's a death that can't be unchanged, like the actor who plays the character passes away and they chose to respectfully have that character pass away. Or dies of something you can change, like Cancer, aids...) Going back. If a Death isn't written on screen, then you can't really say how the person die, then how they are found. Or not found, in some cases. If the body isn't found, then you know that some day that person has a chance to come back. As for example from 2009/2010 All My Children's Greenlee. Her body was never found (from what I remember), it was said to be found, but her ex/current husband at the time (can't remember which, lol) was the one to prove the body that was found wasn't hers. And she later returned to the show, said to have almost died. Yet now she's alive and well and making trouble in Pine Valley again. If you can't say how someone died, just how they are found.... then you can come up with a way to bring them back. In a way you can see it as if they aren't killed on screen then maybe they aren't dead after all. Things might not be what they seem?

5) Never, NEVER EVER complain to the powers that be about the other one. Because believe me it will never work. It will only give them reason to continue writing the storyline. Because hate for a storyline and complaining about it on the comment lines it will make them make the storyline last longer. Hints for Comments lines, only talk about your couple. Don't mention anything that is against them So like another women, or another man. It won't do you any good. You'll just have to continue to watch this Horrid storyline and suffer through it and it will drive you insane. So when they say Positivity can get you everywhere, It's true here. Talk positive about your favorite couple, and it could do some good. But negativity for the storyline or certain character will do you nothing.


Now you might agree or disagree with what I say are the five things you need to know when watching a soap. But trust me at least two of the five are ones that I know can be agreed upon. It could either help you enjoy the soaps, or drive you completely mad. But I say make sure you keep these things in mind. Because one day they might be useful.

Pot Meet Kettle

It took me a bit but finally figured out similarities in this whole Storyline/trail. And what I found one been there done that.

Let us flash back to 2008 August/September, There was a trail going on, one of and innocent man trying to be sent to death by Mr. Scott Baldwin. (I miss him). Now this innocent man of course wasn't that innocent because he took covered up a murder that was accidental/self defense, that someone he loved and cared about did. But he took the blame because he didn't want the other person to get hurt or have to deal with all he was dealing with. But three simple words could have cleared this whole thing up. That innocent man, well his name was Johnny Zacchara.

Flash forward to 2010, oh look Sonny is on trail for the murder of Claudia Zacchara. A crime he did not commit. A crime that Micheal his son and someone he loved and cared for had commited. But him and everyone involved covered it up. Now Sonny is on trail, while Johnny is trying to make sure he goes to jail. Even though he knows full well that Micheal killed Claudia. And again those three simple words can be said, yet again no one will let Micheal say them. Just like no one let Lulu say them.

Funny how the same storyline repeats it self. But the thing that gets me is that Johnny knows what Sonny is kind of going through right now (minus the Kristina storyline). But Claudia was almost killed during Johnny's trial and Sonny and Micheal saved her. But Johnny knows what's it like to be on trail for a murder you didn't commit. Having a prosecutor that wants you to go to jail and will do anything to make it happen. To not wanting to see the person who really did it be on the stand because they'd blurt it out they killed so and so, and fearing how this could all impact them.

I think what gets me the most about this is that Johnny wants to see Sonny in Jail, why? because of the way he treated Claudia? And using her murder as a way to do it? When again he knows full well that Sonny didn't do it. Johnny that isn't going to bring Claudia back. Nor will it do any good. You are just barking up the wrong tree... digging yourself into a hole. It be better if you just took out the organization. After all half of is technically yours. So turn the men against Sonny and take him out. Because putting him behind bar will not do any good. And plus the show will be over once Sonny's in jail. Half all Jason's been had of the business twice. One got his fiance shot in the back and two got his son kidnapped. With Sonny gone might give him a reason to break free.

I just don't under stand Johnny and his need to send Sonny to Jail for a Crime he didn't even commit and Johnny knows that. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Gansta Hospital

Once again General Hospital has proven to why the Hospital is no longer and actual part of the show. Now the storylines going on, Kristina and her storyline, The Dante arresting his own father, Elizabeth second WTD baby drama and Johnny's need to take out Sonny are all very good. And General Hospital wanted to come back swinging and they truly have. The storylines since Sept 09 have been really good. But not to take away from my point....

There is still no focus at the hospital. I swear It's almost like what do they do while at the hospital is one of Cast members characters aren't hurt. I know it's mostly been Patrick and Lisa who have done surgery after surgery.... While Steve (Steven) shows up and has his own work. And Robin, such a great character with so much history behind her, I almost feel as if she is just around right now to make Sonny out to be Man Of the Year. Now don't get me wrong I love Robin and I have a love hate relationship with Sonny, but I adore the Robin and Sonny friendship. I just kind of feel they are using the friendship to prop up Sonny a bit and that annoys the crap out of me. Just might be me, but I rather see the Robin/Sonny friendship be used in a good manner. Maybe it will soon and I am just seeing this, because every time Sonny is brought up she goes on about how good of a person he is and can be. But then again I didn't watch when Robin and Stone first started out and Robin and Sonny became friends. I just know some of the history. So this could be me seeing it as someone who hasn't watched the show for 10 years or longer. So again how I see it, I just hope I'm seeing it wrong.

And Patrick? His sudden hatred for Sonny? WTF? It's like He's saying he knows what sonny capable and saw it first hand when he shot his own son, and unarmed cop/man point blank in the chest. Patrick shall we go over the last I don't know 5 years you been in Patrick Charles. I believe he threaded your life if Jason died. He pointed a guy at a man in the operating room while you were operating on Jason Morgan, his hitman. He also asked you to kill a man on the operating table. I also believe he threaded you about Emily. I mean also violence follows him around... His ex-fiance was shot at her wedding because of Him. His son was shot while he was at a coffee warehouse with him. And not to mention his wife goes missing, who he ripped into in front of like the whole town. No that didn't change your mind at all. So many things annoy me with you Patrick. So many things.

Now going back to the Hospital?..... Since when can a Hospital be run by four doctors and a nurse? I mean because the fifth doctor is never shown and the second nurse was put on suspension and check herself into shadybrooke. So it's like who is helping out Robin, Patrick, Lisa and Steve? I love Epiphany, but the women can't be in five places at once? And then there is Matt? By now you'd see him and be like I didn't know he was still on the show? I have seen more airtime from some of the Recurring character then him. And he's on contract. The most airtime he gets now is in the opening credits. I remember when that was Lucky's job. He's gotten two big storyline since he started almost two years ago and yet He ended up not being the center of them in like the second week. I mean come on there is so much you can do with him. I mean for reals he had a past before he came to Port Charles, maybe there was a girl he knew. Maybe the Patient he told Maxie about was someone he cared about. With Brooklynn coming back, maybe they had a past of some sort. He's just in the background right now collecting dust and I know a whole lot of other fans plus myself want to see him on Screen. For more then 25 second every blue moon. because then we ask you, why'd you hire him? If you aren't even going to use him?

So this goes more to proven why the Mob and Violence as taken over General Hospital, big time. (WARNING: contains Spoilers/Supmors/Ruomrs)

So i read a rumor of what was going to happen to Keifer, and now it's looking more like it's going to come true. And honestly I thought there was going to be this great message to Women, Men and Teens as well as Parents about Teen Dating Abuse. And be this really great storyline. And while the Actors in the storyline are doing an amazing job, The show could have taken a different rout then the way I see being hinted at. because things I am seeing are that Kiefer is going to get punished, but he's going to be in a hit and run and someone is going to cover it up. Hello been there done that. Courtney hit Elizabeth, Jason covered it up. Elizabeth, I mean Monica hit Sam with her car, Elizabeth thought it was her. Monica covered it up. And then their have been car accidents. If I remember reading correctly, Gia had one while Liz was in the car is Nikolas (or someone) covered it up. Kristina caused a car crash and covered it up, as did her mother. And let Micheal take the blame and her mother took the blame as well. And that was just last year. Why do another one not even a year after the one Kristina caused? And then there is Sonny wanting to kill people. I get you don't like the law Sonny, but sooner or later the law will catch up to you and you won't be able to get yourself out of this one at all. So why can't Kiefer just be tried and convected of the crime he commented? Why can't you do something like that?

I'm hoping that to keep this good message going that That you should respect yourself, not let anyone push you around or put you down, or hurt you at all, continue with message that speaking up can lead to the person being stopped and actually letting the law punish them.

because this constant getting away with murder is getting old. I know it's not real life, but come on how long can someone get away with murder?

Do I Even Need To Say?

"I told you she needed help. Don't you think she suffered enough?"

Where the fuck does Nikolas get off making this Lucky's fault? Making it about Lucky making Elizabeth suffer because they had the affair. Hello Nikolas you slept with your brothers, like me make this clear for you, FIANCE. Mean she was going to marry your brother. So how come Lucky doesn't have a right to stay mad at her? Why does Lucky have to go and pick up the pieces of the mess you and Elizabeth Made? Sure I love Liz and Lucky and want them to be happy and together, but doesn't mean I want a quick fix for them.

Even Rebecca said it for Elizabeth. She made her bed and now she has to lay in it. So that doesn't give you the right to tell Lucky Elizabeth's in trouble and expect Lucky to jump up and help her, when Elizabeth won't let you help her. Oh boo whoo cry us a freakin river. No one gives a damn about you, because you only care about yourself and everyone knows it. You can say you care and all this shit. But I mean come on you were willing to die to be with your died fiance then stay with your son. You went after a women who looked like your dead fiance and kicked your current girlfriend to the curb, And if you gave a damn about your brother like you said you did, you won't have falling in love with his Girlfriend/fiance or slept with her. You would have said I care about my brother to much to let this go any farther. But no you need to feed your happiness and screw over the brother you claim to love of so much.

Well Guess what Nikolas you suck. And you will always suck. So take your sucky ass and go do something else then stalk your brothers fiance in hopes she'll love you back, because she never will. Yeah she said it to you, but She'll never love you like she loves Lucky. Because you suck. And you can declare your love all you want to her and the world, but it's not going to mean a damn thing, because She's never going to want you again. That is why she has told you to take a hike.

What The Fudge Were They Thinking? (Spoilers)

If anyone has read the Spoilers you know now Elizabeth is pregnant. They decided to write Rebecca's Pregnancy into the show. And I am not on to complain about it. I could go with it either way. If they chose to Write it in or not.

It's just the way they are doing it is beyond... it's just wrong. I don't know the whole story and want the new SID now, but have to wait till this weekend. The titled is WHO'S THE DADDY? (Read kind of edited version)

1) Elizabeth and Lucky haven't slept together since November. And it was a big deal the next day. But Elizabeth has found plenty of time to go and sleep with Nikolas all over the place. So WTD doesn't make a lick of sense. Unless they have Liz and Lucky hook up in the next week, but Lucky can't even stand 5 minutes on the pier with her, why would he want to sleep with her? Now sure it could be said they were getting it on off screen. That would mean actually acknowledging the fact that Liz and Lucky have a nice sex life. Yet after they slept together for the first time since the Jason and Sam break ups, it was a big deal. Lucky even told Nikolas about it, who was a jackass because he wanted to be the one in Elizabeth pants. Opps did I say that one out loud? Shame on me.

2) What is with Elizabeth having kids with Mean she isn't married to? Why can't she be married to a guy and have their kid? Why must she be such a ho bag? (I love Elizabeth, but come on even I don't paint her as a saint) She was married to Ric while pregnant with Zander's kid. Married to Lucky while pregnant with Jason's kid (which I refuse to believe. I still believe Jake is Lucky's) And now she's engaged to Lucky or was and Sleeping with Nikolas. Does this mean a Niz baby? Because LnL2 have so much more history and all they got was break up make ups and a wedding, well like 5 and only two that actually got married. But Liason got a Kid. Ziz got a Kid.. why must Niz get a kid before LnL2? Why must you crush Laura's dream of the perfect LnL2 family with a Son? I guess that would be like asking why GH isn't a hospital drama anymore? To complicated to explain. or you just end up in circles trying to get an explanation. Your head will just end up hurting.

3) Helena wants and heir? Hello Helena you have Spencer. (Tainted with Courtney's blood, that makes me laugh).... Helena honey you have a kid Nikolas is ignoring you can kidnap and raise him to be what ever you want him to be. You don't Need Nikolas to create a new one just so he can claim to love it, fight for it and then ignore it. But then at least Spencer won't be so lonely. So Spencer would win out in all that. But honestly back in 2006 didn't we have this big storyline where Helena kidnapped Spencer after crazy nanny Carrie, I mean Collen kidnapped Spencer. And didn't Helena try and get Spencer to be the true Spencer heir. And now what he's too good for you Helena. Finally take another storyline from me. to hurt the Spencer's, ie Lucky, but having Nikolas and Liz have the Cassadine heir. That was my idea Helena. Stick with Spencer at least he'd get attention and can come back and hate Nikolas. Which I still want to see.

4) The LnL2 quick fix. I am sorry but LnL2 never end well when they get their quick fix. I love them I do, but I know if you put them back together to soon they will never work out. I mean look at what happened with the Maxie and Drugs? They gave them a quick fix and didn't let them find their way back as friends or co-parents and then ended up in a bigger mess. And after a while LnL2 finally were happen to find their way back as friends and not hate each other. And which lead to their reunion in May 2009. Only for it to be killed again but something so freakin stupid. I mean, No I got nothing. Now reading the article there is the LnL2 quick fix and all because of a baby again. I only hope the quick fix is only what I want I see and show different on screen. If that confused you, I mean I hope what I am reading plays different on screen so that isn't not really a LnL2 quick fix and it's a road to recovery. Because I would actually like to see them find their way back together in a nice manner, that isn't quick and over a baby or one of the kids, but because they want to be together again.

5) Totally unrelated to Elizabeth, Lucky, Nikolas and the baby spon. I am so getting sick of how the show called General Hospital, can't seem to get certain medical things right. First with the kid on the stretcher. And now with Dante on Monday. I can understand getting to the wound and all but to completely take off his shirt and then take him out into the winter cold of New York without anything cover his upper body is crazy. First of all, I know it's not a long way, but it's cold out side and your taking off his shirt. Hello that's asking for hypothermia. he already has a gun shot, let freeze him as well. And the gun shoot wound? How did it mange to go from bleeding endlessly to completely stopping, beside maybe a little as if you stuck a band aid on a paper cut? Why didn't they have a paramedic applying pressure to the wound to stop id from bleeding and Dante from bleeding to death? because honest;y that would have happened if the bleeding was as back as Olivia was making it out to be and it was a gun shot to the chest. Yet is seemed as if no big deal.

Also I highly doubt a paramedic would leave a needle and a bottle of something they use (not sure what it was really), on the ground at the crime seen so anyone could just find it. I'm pretty sure they'd take it back with them. Since it's a use needle and the bottle is medical equipment, that I am sure wasn't empty and needed to come back. But nope lets leave it for dramatic effect. Forget it's called General Hospital, it's all about Drama. Give me a Break it just goes to show you, you care more about making the show into a Daytime Sopranos then keeping it's roots. Why actually do anything right in the hospital when you can make it up along the way?

Strayed So Far Away

Watching the Episode today made me realize how far they was strayed away from the actually hospital part of the show. Sure they have doctors and everything, but in the end they are just for show. They only show the same three hospital staff, and now they have added two more members, but Epiphany and Matt seem to have faded into the back drop of the Hospital, and Monica I slightly wonder if she is even part of the hospital anymore. Since she is no longer Chief of Staff, and really hasn't been seen around the hospital in a white lab coat in a long time. In the end it's really just Patrick, Robin and Elizabeth. At least they have two historic character holding up the Hospital front. And last year they added in Lisa and Steven, I'm sorry Steve. I'm sure to attempt to say oh yeah this is still about a hospital. We are still acknowledging the fact the name of the show is called GENERAL HOSPITAL. Just doesn't mean we'll actually do things right when it comes to the doctors. Sure they can talk the big talk, but the little things mean nothing to them.

Like today. Two crash victims came into the ER. There is no way in the real life that boy who came in wouldn't have a neck brace on. Because I have been taking to the hospital in and ambulance and all I did was faint and they stuck me on a backboard and in a neck brace. It's so they can make sure you sustain a neck injury or didn't sustain one. So the fact he was moving around like he was wouldn' actually happen. Because if you on a backboard and have a neckbrace on you wouldn't be able to move like that at all. Until the cleared him and made sure nothing was broken, or hurt. But little things like that they mean nothing since it's all about Jason and Jason, I mean Sonny and Jason.

I mean the guy was only in a car crash. yet the girl who was in the care with him was still on the backboard and still had the neckbrace and head guard (don't know what that is called) on and couldn't move. But the boy he could move all around. And then wow she was standing up in the same room as the doctors and her. Almost like nothing ever happened to him.

It's things like these that take away from what the show started out about. And prove more and more to fans that the show is more about Jason and Sonny and they mob crap. I mean the mob is and interesting part of the show, but taking away from what made the show was it was is like spitting on it's history and the people who created it. And I'm sure not every show can stay the same forever, but it be like taking ER and adding in a mob gang and then taking out the hospital all together. Then why call it ER? There is no ER, no Hospital, no Doctors. What makes it so interesting to tune into, every week?

The least that could be done is that even if the show stays all about Sonny and Jason, they at least try and get the Hospital parts right. or it's going to be the question of why is Hospital in the name at all? because they don't do anything with it and anything they do do isn't realistic. And I mean people coming back from the dead isn't realistic either, but why not get the things most important right then mess them up and say it was only a mistake or something. or say it was our bad we didn't mean to do it. Because the viewers aren't stupid and though some don't pay attention to little details as others, doesn't mean people won't notice.

My Christmas Present To You???

Okay first going to talk about the crappiness that is Nikolas.... and then totally going to gush about Three great things that happen on Gh today, LnL2 Family moment, Solivia family moment and Chad's return to GH. Short and sweet and wished there was more.

First Nikolas, I used to love NEM really I did, but this whole Emily being dead thing is so played out. Since I have started watching Emily has been the most mentioned dead person. The other was Stone and Lila, But they weren't trashed upon. Because they weren't talked about every twelve seconds. But something tells me that Emily won't have been mentioned so much if Natty hadn't returned in the first place. Seeing how Alan has been forgotten, Georgie has been forgotten. Besides a few mentions for plot points. They aren't remembered anymore.

But Emily is. She's like the whole reason for the crap that is Nikolas and Liz. For me honestly what would of made more sense is if Elizabeth turned to Nikolas when Liz found out Lucky was having an affair with Maxie, because Nikolas was there for her. He helped her out when she needed it and she told him things she'd only tell a friend or family. So that would of made a bit more sense back in 2006... but now 2009 this storyline just came out of no where? Liz and Lucky where happy, Nikolas was happy with Rebecca. And then suddenly Nikolas and Liz have feelings for one an other over a drunken kiss? It's like freaking Johnny and Olivia falling in love for a drunken ONS. So freaking Random. Then the truth comes out about Rebecca and bam Nikolas is all about getting into Elizabeth's pants to cure his pain. Bull shit, it's a bunch of crap.

And now Nikolas is all about I saw what a great family Liz and Lucky are, it's not right to bring them down because of my problems. Though I love Liz so much I can't be with her (though I'm really not going to stop trying to)... And baby my Christmas present to you is to be better. Please spare me the loud of funking crap Nikolas. We all know just because you said it doesn't mean it's going to happen. In fact the moment you and Elizabeth are along you two are going to be taring off each others clothes. Only Elizabeth's going to back out and your going to be saying no this right. It's right because we care about each other. But we also care about Lucky too. So least screw him over some more. Because that is what real love is. Screwing over the people you love most.

And another thing.. Nikolas if you claim to love Emily so much. Which is the reason you wanted to die them be with you son, to the women you one claimed to love so much. Also chose to not move on with anyone. When you finally did move on you screwed her over to be with a double that looked like Emily. Eww Creepy. Then you staked her around for a while and don't deny it you did, you stalked her around. Then she finally agreed to be with you. Oh hey you find out she's coning you and you turn your back on her. She so should have said screw you Nikolas, you deserve everything you get since you so obsessed with your dead ex-wife you had to settle for her body double. And now saying the close thing to Emily really was her best friend Elizabeth, who's engaged to be married to YOUR BROTHER!!!!! .... How Emily would spit on you now Nikolas. I think she tell you fuck off and Elizabeth and her and Lucky could live happily ever after. Okay maybe that is more in my dreams, but if I could see that happen on GH I think I could say yes you suck Nikolas. Though I'd hate for Elizabeth to lose Emily, and Love Elizabeth. But really want someone to yell at her for this whole Nikolas. Even though she's feeling guilty enough. I guess that is good and better then being yelled at. I just want this storyline to end already. Nikolas to leave the Country and Lucky and Liz to live happy or Lucky turn back into Greg... I mean didn't say that. (Strike that from the record please)

Going to shift now to the gushing. First since I was talking about Nikolas, Liz, Lucky, Emily and Rebecca. Let me just saw how amazing it was to see Chad back on screen.

Chad still has it. And him and Natty still have it. Makes me wish I saw the Chad and Amber days, because he is a talented actor and still wish he was around GH. Him and Cameron in scenes would have been love. Still sad there was no Zander and Cameron scene. It's been 5 years since Chad's been off GH and Zander never got to meet his son before being killed. I could say he's with Justus and Georgie in my they aren't really dead club. But when I first heard Chad was coming back I was soo excited because I figured there would be a Cam and Zander scene and too my disappointment there was no scene :(. First I lost my Cam and Greg scenes. (There is a picture in the banner) Greg and that little boy that plays Cameron is just too cute. I always enjoyed their scenes together. Though I have to say Jon and Cam scenes where cute today, but on to that next. I envisioned the scene in my head and it was so pretty, but no he was someone else. but at least him and natty got to do a little nod to the ZEM fans and give them a happy ending, even if they weren't really Zander and Emily. At least on Couple got a happy ending. Not much can be said about the rest lol.

But I have to gush about Liz and Lucky. After they picked up the kids and when Christmas tree hunting it was just one happy family moment. And Lucky telling him the story about his Christmas and the tree. Wither it was true or not it was the cutest thing. Lucky is about the best father and he has no kids of his own (but I still believe Jake is really his) .... He loves those boys and he doesn't have to. Grant it he is about the only father they have know really, he could have chosen not to be part of their lives, but of course Lucky would never do that and he loves them. It's so nice to see that he would do anything for them. And if Liz would stop sleeping around with Nikolas.. her and Lucky could have the perfect family. Maybe they could even adopt Spencer and raise him too (since Nikolas doesn't care to). But scenes like those make me remember why I love Liz and Lucky and why I still hang on to the hope they will someday be happy again. I just have to remind myself they been throw much already to let this be the end of them.

The other family love... since I am talking about it. Sonny, Olivia and Dante. Loved their scenes today. I was so glad I got to watch them. I was so afraid they would air on Wednesday while I was at work, but they didn't. They were so much better then I expected. The mother son banter right in front of Sonny, was just to funny. "My mother never let me in the kitchen" "maybe your mother had good reason", and them all talking about the Yankees. (not a baseball fan myself) that was to great. Loved loved the Corinthos/Falconeri Family dinner. it was better then I expected and totally makes me hope there will be more scenes of those character like these. But most more with Sonny and Olivia. But if we can get family moments as well I won't knock them down. because I love the Corinthos/Falconeri Family. (Don't care who knocks them down, I love them and that is all that matters :P)

I Love You.... Really?

i think I threw up a little in my month when Nikolas "declared" his love for Elizabeth. Didn't he do that like in June to Rebecca? or was that July? I lost track of when they were doing when I stopped caring about Nikolas. It only really got intersted when it was reviled that Rebecca was sleeping with Ethan. Damn shame they could have been a really hott couple, yet they had to stick with Epic failure NEM2.0. And now look where they are? Nikolas doesn't even look twice at Rebecca, who he was gag gag about when she first came to town all because she looked like Emily and screwed over Nadine. Poor Nadine when he saw Rebecca you never stood a chance. Too bad Matt wasn't around to type your tears, oh wait he was, but then he got screwed over too. The potential couples and characters have are wasted for what? For a crappy love story of a Double and twin sisters ex-husband. Because that is what Nikolas was, he was and Ex-husband/Fiance. Emily and Nikolas where only engaged for what 6 hours before she was killed. By one of the worst killers... I loved Diego. It's just his reasons for killing some people, Georgie, were ridiculous. I'm sorry but if GH expects me to believe Diego would ever kill Georgie you are sadly mistaken. Diego would never and I mean never touch a hair on her head. She was the only one that actually liked him and gave him the time of day when everyone wrote him off. And then he goes and kills Georgie because she could ID him? BULL SHIT!!!!!

Sorry went on a little rant there, back to my point, if I really had one. Wait no I did it was about Nikolas telling Elizabeth he loved her. And then goes and tells Lucky after fighting with his at one time step-father. "What ever he tells you, I'm your brother and I love you". Really? because you love your brother you sleeping with his fiance. That is some sick and twisted love there Nikolas. But I think as long as you don't invite Lucky into the mix we'll step away from the sick. That would just be wrong on so many levels. Why did I just say that it's in my head now. I need to wash my brain with soap. I think I am scared for like for saying that. If you are too I am so so sorry.

I loved Luke today, calling Nikolas out and then calling him a liar. Nikolas you are sleeping with your brothers Fiance, shall we repeat that again? Your Bother's Fiance. Why would Luke even give you the time of day? Like really? You think he would. That he's just forget all about and you two could be like father and son? Not that I think they ever were that close, but they could stand to be in the same room as each other and even I think you know got along. But yeah Nikolas you tossed that out the window when you screwed over your own brother, who you claim to love, but screwing his fiance. There is that word again fiance. Funny you had one of those. Remember her? I mean after all you wanted to die for her. Forget Spencer, dead Fiance Emily was where it's at. You lived your live all about Emily for the longest time. Honestly Nadine was able to get you out of your Emily faze and screw her over and look your Emily faze is back. Shocking.

So this is my Christmas wish... who can make it come true?... it is for Nikolas to go far far away. Some where that he can't be and ubber loser.

Dare I say?

So it’s been a long time since my last post and last time I posted I was going to talk about the Nikolas/Rebecca/ and lack there was of Lucky…. Well it’s more Liz/Lucky/Nikolas and lack there is of Rebecca. Funny how an Actor change… can changed the role in a storyline. (I have nothing against Jonathan, in fact I do like his and Becky’s version of Liz and Lucky. I’m just a bigger fan of Greg Vaughan and Him and Becky’s Liz and Lucky.)

Everyone or anyone who reads this should know I am no longer a Nikolas fan and have way to much fun bashing him. (Please note Tyler Christopher is an actor and think he’s doing a good job.) I just hate everything to do with the fictional CHARACTER Nikolas. While we are on the subject of character hate… I can’t not stand Johnny right now. I want to slap him upside his head. Where did the real Johnny Zacchara go? Hoping they can redeem him, because I miss the really Johnny.

But today I am going to be talking about the horrible Nikolas/Liz/Lucky and lack there of Rebecca Triangle plus one. And the horribleness that is Johnny and Olivia. As always don’t read if you are a fan. because these are my views and if you don’t like it I don’t care.

First Nikolas/Lucky and Elizabeth/Rebecca. Oh how did they miss a great opportunity with Rebecca. First off she’s not Emily. Kind of not liking she’s Emily’s twin and hated how thei paired her up with Nikolas first hand. NEM 2.0 Epic Failure. I loved seeing Natty and Tyler together, but honestly they only work in my eyes as Emily and Nikolas. Maybe if years went by and then paired up again it might work. Like with Kirsten and Jason (another epic Failure, because they have smoken hot chem and isn’t freakin used) …. because they were out of each other obrit for a while and then placed back and still prove they have it. That they can pull of two different Characters and still be somken hott when together. And the fact Natty wasn’t even gone a year before being ask? or coming back, it didn’t seem believe able. Then again Soaps are known for bring on twins like right after the first one died. Some times it works and same times it doesn’t. But honestly I think Nikolas had a great thing going with Nadine and then bam Nadine/Claire kicked to the curb for the epic failure that was NEM 2.0.

And now since that failed it’s on to Niz… (Can there be a name for them to make fun of them? Like Liason was Jiz, still love that lol)… This realtionship that came out of no where. I mean like really came out of no where. Liz and Nikolas have known each other since 1997 and have been friends since 1998, And yet nothing has happened with them. And nothing like 11-12 years later it’s like lets pair them up. First would like to ask and honest question… before the Tyler and Becky (Niz) Kiss early this year, (because Niz did kiss once before, when Nikolas had a crush on her in 1999/2000) … So back to my question.. before the kiss earlier this year did anyone really want to see them together? Honestly I’d like to know if anyone shipped them before they were kissing that kiss? … I will be honest and say even though I love Elizabeth and Lucky. I teased the idea of Liz and Nikolas with my friends. (But I can’t enjoy them now because I can’t stand Nikolas).

But I do understand that you can’t have a happy couple in a soap 24/7 because then it be boring. Why would people tune in 5 days a week? So they need conflict and angst and all this, but it almost has to make sense. And I just feel this while Liz and Nikolas thing just doesn’t make sense. After the kiss at Jakes. Liz was talking about getting back with Lucky and Nkolas with Rebecca. And They end up back with those too… and then Liz and Lucky are barely shown on screen… and right around the time Rebecca’s big secret comes out… wam Liz and Nikolas have feelings for each other? Maybe if there was some more build up I could see it. Or maybe if it was right after the kiss. But I mean it just came out of no where at least for me. And now they have feelings for each other, Nikolas loves her and Elizabeth, not to sure what her feelings are but all I know if I will be happy onc this big secret comes out. because honestly I don’ know how much longer I can sit and watch Nikolas proclaim his love for Elizabeth, Or how she saved him or what ever. Truly to me my Nikodine heart is shattered. It’s like she never even mattered to him. Like she was just another knoch on his belt and now he’s had Emily’s twin… now time for his brother’s ex-wife/current fiance. And i’m sure Nico fans are upset too. If you aren’t you should be. I mean come on the guy stopped giving a damn about Spencer the moment Emily died and Rebecca Entered. I mea Nadine helped his care for Spencer…. and then Rebecca shows up Spencer who? I have a son? Really?

You do not know how much I want to see Spencer all grown up and working with Helena. I would freakin love it. I mean his own father abandons him, doesn’t pay attention to him. It’s to busy trying to get into Elizabeth’s pants to care. So why can’t Helena take care of Spencer, not like Nikolas would notice Spencer was missing. It make for a great storyline, Spencer taken by Helena and raised to hate his father. Take down his own father and took over as the Prince of Grease? What is Nikolas the Prince of anyways? I don’t think I actually know or maybe I forgot it. It could bring back the Spencer/Cassadine war… which it seems to be on it’s way back anyways. It be like all those Parents worst fears dreams. that they tend to have on the soaps. Of the kid all grown up saying ‘Why didn’t you want me? Whay didn’t you love me?’ . Sorry having to much funn imaging Spencer all grown up and hating on his father for not loving him enough. If Helena can’t have him can Lucky raise him? Lucky would at least care about Spencer. I mean he’s already father to Cam and Jake and they are his (Though my my mind Jake is Lucky’s. But that is my mind, don’t hate on me for that). So what is one more kid?

Speaking of Kids… I am so pissed at Johnny right now (But damn you Brandon for being so hott). I don’t understand how Johnny could think Olivia would chose him over her own Son? I mean I’m not a mother myself, but i do know if I was Olivia I’d chose Dante over anyone I was dating if it came to protecting my son’s life. I find nothing wrong with her wanting to keep her son from dying. I can get Johnny would be mad at her for lying to her. But honestly him expecting her to chose him over Dante and tell her the truth, it’s like are you sure your okay Johnny? I kind of wish it was more of a I’m pissed you lied to me, because you wanted to keep your son safe okay I get that. But no of course not. Guess the bigger the conflict the better they think the reunion would be.

Sorry to burst your bubble, because there is no better reunion for Johnny and Olivia then to see them end it all together. Then again I guess that doesn’t make sense… but in the end Johnny and Olivia are so much better APART, then together.

I kind of lost my train of thought of where I was going. So I leave you with this for now. And if I remember will pick up where I left off on my next post.

All is Forgiven? Maybe?

Okay so I have two things I want to talk about. One of them is this whole Nikolas/Rebecca/Liz and lack there is of Lucky… and the second thing is Jasam. Now I am a Jasam fan I love them. And so excited for them to be back together or making their way back together.

But there is just something that has been annoying me. I have seen Fans… Not going to say really they are just Liason fans, because I am not going to call out one fan base… but I have seen fans say you know, How can Jason really be with Sam after she threaten Elizabeth with her boys and watched Jake get kidnapped? But what I don’t get is why it’s okay for Lucky and Sam to be together after what she has done too? I mean (as much as I hate to admit it) Jason is Jake’s father yet, but The world knows (besides half the town) that Jake is Lucky’s son and Lucky loves Jake… not to mention Cam as if their were is own. And don’t give me this crap that Jake really isn’t Lucky’s son… and Cameron isn’t really either…. but Lucky is the only father Cam’s known… and Lucky would do any thing to keep Cameron and Jake safe.

And Lucky was anger with her after he found out everything she did. But because Lucky has a kind heart, he found a way to forgive her for what she did. But I guess Jason isn’t allowed to forgive anyone. I guess if he’s not allowed to forgive people for what they do wrong.. I guess that means he can’t forgive Robin (Who he did forgive), can’t forgive Courtney (which he did too), and can’t forgive Carly (Oh wait they are best friends) … So why can’t Jason forgive Sam?

Okay There could be say things were different for each… Robin told AJ the truth….. (But it can’t really say it took Jason 10 years to Forgive her. 1) because Kim left… so you really don’t know if Jason would of forgiven her sooner or not… but when Kim and Robin returned in 2004 for Lila’s Funeral they didn’t hate each other…. and then when she returned fully in 2005 after Jason life was saved…. they seemed of moved passed it…. But who is really to say that if Kim didn’t stay that Jason wouldn’t of forgiving Robin for telling AJ the truth. And Carly Slept with Jason’s best friend…And he hated her for that , but yet he found a way to forgive her and now they are best friend. And Courtney called the cops on Sonny her own brother. And Jason said he didn’t know her anymore and wanted nothing more to do with her and yet he still manage to forgive her. And not to mention Jason forgive Liz to lying to him about being pregnant with his kid. You think that would be a bit worse too…

But I still wonder why it is okay for Lucky to forgive Sam for all she did, but isn’t ok for Jason to forgive? Not to mention He threaten to kill her. So why can’t all be forgiven?

Marriaged Really?

Spinelli: The Jackal was simply observing that one day, Maximista is going to make a most beautiful bride.

Maxie: Oh, Spinelli, that’s so sweet of you to say, but I seriously doubt that I’ll be getting married.

Maxie: You know, I would always picture the perfect wedding. Not for me, but for my mom and Mac. He loved her so much. I always wanted them to get married so that we could be a family. They did eventually get married. It was a double-wedding with two people that you don’t know, Kevin and Lucy. I still think something weird was going on behind the scenes, but I was happy. And I got to wear a really pretty dress. Georgie and I gave our mom the blue ribbons from our hair for her bouquet. You know, something blue.

Spinelli: Yes, I am aware of the tradition.

Maxie: She looked so beautiful that day. And I believed everything she said. She said her heart would always belong to Mac, that he was her wisdom and her hope. They got married and I thought we would be a family forever. Less than a year later, she started having an affair with Luke Spencer and she left us. Their wedding meant nothing.

Spinelli: The Jackal has been long aware of that Maximista carries great pain.

Maxie: I hate my mom. I really do, but I’m just like her.

Spinelli: No. I have to disagree most vehemently.

Maxie: She’s a liar, she’s unfaithful, she makes terrible choices just like me. So I promised myself a long time ago that I would never hurt anyone the way my mom hurt Mac or Georgie or me, so I’ll never get married.

Four words every girl drams of hearing one day. Where they can start planning that big wedding. Even though they may not say it… or maybe deny it, Every girl hass a dream wedding. And every girl has that dream where her man will plan this romantic evening and then get down on one knee and propose.

Then again this is a soap opera. You have people marrying each other to stay out of jail. Getting married because they think they are going to die. Or married because of a business arrangement. One out of three of those is most likely the most romantic. Nothing says I love you like getting your final wish to marry the one person you love. I actually do this if written right it could be a sweet sad love story….. but the other two those scream love.

Now to explain the Quote above.Yesterday the 15th, Spinelli asked Maxie to marry him. Now there are so many things wrong with this whole thing. First with the quote above. it basically says that if she was to get married she’d leave that guy for someone else…. But also said it to Spinelli. Who is the one who proposed. I love Spinelli I do…. just hate Spinelli and Maxie together.They are all wrong for each other and Spinelli just brings out this Maxie imposer. Her voice gets all high and squeaky and so unbearable. But when Maxie is with anyone else she’s normal. She back to her own self. As much as I hate to say it now.. She be better off if she slept with Johnny. I person rather her with Matt…. I just rather see her with anyone but Spinelli.

Not to mention this Spinelli and Maxie relationship is not only a kick if the face to Maxie’s pairings but to Dillon and Georgie’s. I am sorry but I have seen more thing that tell me Spinelli and Maxie is trying to be the next GQ. I’m sorry but there is no way it could happen. There is only one Dillon and Georgie and no one can replace them or come close to their relationship. And it’s a kick in the face to Maxie’s Pairings and her family. Saying how Spinelli is the only one who believes in her. The one person who makes her want to be a better person. (That one is a lot of crap) .. Only person see who she is. Mac has told Maxie he’d always believe in her. Georgie and Robin are on her side. Sure Robin got mad at her, but that truly wasn’t her fault. Other wise Robin is there for Maxie. And Jesse and Cooper they were two of her best relationships. And now it’s like none of matter.

And this whole Maxie I love Spinelli crap. I remember the last time she said that to him. She gave him and ultimatum and then went and kissed Johnny anyways. If that is true love then I don’t know what is. You know I love you Spinelli, but I have Johnny on the side. I hope you don’t mind. Give me a break this isn’t love it’s crap.

And another thing I hate about this Couple is the constant pimping from the other characters. I am sorry but it just needs to stop. They are better ways to use the characters then to pimp out Spinelli and Maxie.

Moving In????

WTF????????????!!!!!!!!!

So like last week I had this whole thing in mind I was going to write up about Nikolas asking Rebecca to move in with him. And My first reaction to this was WTF??!!!…. He knew Nadine longer and yet he asks Emily’s twin in move in after dating for what like 5 weeks? Earth to Nikolas She’s not Emily. And she’s trying to scam you. You know things like the fact she’s on the phone a lot could be a clue. And the fact she ones hated you and now she is in love with you? Nikolas you are smarter then this. Listen to Elizabeth. You know your good friend since High School. She is very smart girl and knows what she’s talking about. But now you chose to listen to that tumor in your head that says Rebecca is Emily. again Earth to Nikolas… SHE’S NOT EMILY!!!!

Another thing I can’t see, to understand at all is why much this be a kick in the face to the Nikodine fans and the Nico fans. Why was it so import to put Nikolas and Rebecca together? When we as fans know that just be a punch in the face to the fans? I guess when ever you kill a couple and put a new one together it’s a kick in the face a punch in the face to the couple before that. That whole History thing, just doesn’t seem to have a meaning anymore.

And I’m reading about Nikolas and Elizabeth? WTF did that came from? Okay they had like two kisses and then Rebecca and Nikolas hooked up and Liz and Lucky got back together. So where did this whole Nikolas/Elizabeth sexual tention coming from? You work so hard to pair two couples up only to then kill them again for another two new couples? Again WITF??!!

You I’m starting to think I need to cut my losses and just stopp watching… But then something just drags me back in. “Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in” – can’t remember who said it. But I know it’s from a movie.

Should I even dare cross the Spixie line? Lets see…….. Thinking about it….. Still thinking about it….. Hmmmm…. Nope still thinking about it….. No we’ll still Spixie to another day, because that one just might never stop. I’ll leave you with this and come back another day.

Expensive vs Just Plain Lazy?

So it was questioned When is General Hospital going to get a new Opening? All My Children and One Life To Live both have new opening so when is General Hospital going to follow? For crying out loud they still have people who are dead or on another soap in it? Ted King is still in it.. Wally Kruth is still in it and he’s now going to Days. Scott Clifton is still in it and he’s been on OLTL for months now (But I don’t mind it because I miss Scotty on GH.) Justus (Not 100% on his real name) .. but he died like three years ago. I mean they keep up sometimes with taking people out of the Opening for the individual shots, but the very end hasn’t changed. They say it’s cost a lot to change the opening. Doesn’t it also cost a lot to hire actors too? And they seem to be doing that left and right. And dropping Actors from contracts.

So here are my thoughts… Why cut two actors if they are only going to hire more? What is the point really? It doesn’t make sense. To cut two actors and the bump up three more? If money is so tight why not just use the cast that is there? Instead of trying to make it more of a mob teen scene?

I’m not the biggest fan of Kate, I make no secret of it. But really they had to dropped Megan for Sonny’s kids. I mean come on now, that is just ridiculous in everyway that counts. I am a Ric fan. I think Rick Hearst is a talented Actor who’s talents were truly wasted on GH. I mean come on Ric and Sonny finally made some peace and then they got and kill it, why? They could of done so much with Ric. They could of giving him a storyline that was entangled with Liz, Lucky, Jason and Sam… Well not really Sam more to Jason, Lucky and Liz. They could of have him and Alexis get back together… maybe then Alexis could be used a bit more. But no… they give him a new contract with a joicy storyline only to say nevermind we want something else and then bump him down? All I have to say is good move Rick. Maybe TPTB at GH will see you shining in your new role (well really picking up your old role) and realize they were stupid to ever let you go.

The one thing I am grantful for is they didn’t kill Ric. They gave him a job in LA. Thank you for that one because honestly it would have been another mistake on their part to kill Ric.

Also they gave Claudia and Ric a farwell. Okay thanks for giving Rexis fans a nice goodbye… or the Liric fans a goodbye. No we give Claudia and Ric a goodbye and have him tell Diane, Matt, Patrick and Robin (I think) that he’s leaing town. (now lets us fan believe they all sad goodbye in a nice way)

Ad to make it seem as if Kate is still on the show but not to air her. She’s off on some Fashion cruise. Soon she’ll fade away and people wouldn’t even remember when she left…. happened with Maxie before Storms took over. Happened with Gia… Lydia, Lois… I can’t remember if she faded away or left on her own… I know Brooklynn left Port Charles too live her her mom, just don’t remember when her mom left…. Happened with Ned once and awhile….. happened with Lucas. Happened with Kyle… remember him? Dated Maxie. Happened with Nadine… Vasnished into the background. Happened with Spencer…. But see those are the lucky Characters… because that means they are still around but aren’t died yet.

It just gets me they can hire all these new people onto the show, but they can’t bother to change the opening? They can only bother to take out the non contract players.

Double Your Plessure?

It’s not just a Gum……… So since Nikolas is such an easy target for me, I’m pulling out that target sign and placing it on his back. (For Nik Fans, but I’ve sailed away from him. Tyler is awesome… Nikolas is not)

Really The same dress that Emly died in? Really? (Pulling an SNL) Really Asking her to waltz? Really? Really A shoe left behind? Really? There is so much I want to say right now not sure where to start…. The Dress? Creepy factor. The Waltz… Just screw over Nadine and Nikolas some more….. Come on the fans do notice, we aren’t as stupid as you really believe…… and the shoe? I’m sorry right because this is Rebecca fairy tale. (I miss the old Rebcca, the Nikolas hating Rebecca, Where did you go?)

I will start with the dress. Has Nikolas gone completely mental or just realy trying to make Rebecca Emily? Because I swear that was if not the same looking dress, but the same dress Emily wore to the Black and White ball. When I saw her in I was like is Diego going to pop up and kill her now too? I mean really? That is a tad…. no sorry that is uber creepy. It was like he was trying to make Rebecca Emily and every way shape or form. I’m sorry but I have been losing repect for Nikolas and this just sent me over the edge.

“I care about you Rebecca. But if Emily showed up alive I’d leave you in a heart break. Even if you look like her you still different. I’ll just make you my sub Emily. While I make love to you I’ll think of Emily. When I look at you I’m really looking at Emily. Emily Emily Emily.” – Okay Nikolas I get you loved the women… but you’ve become a full Cassadine. Your uncle would be so proud. I mean you forgot your family… You know that LITTLE BOY YOU HAD WITH COURTNEY!!!!! (Lets just screw over those Nico Fans so more)….. Your brother and sister…. Some how when you see Lucky it’s about Rebecca and how it makes you feel…. and can’t remember the last time Nikolas had a scene with Lulu….. Lucky I can say they had scenes… Though it’s about Luke and Ethan, they still have more scenes… while Nikolas stay all alone or with the Emily double in the cave.

Oh wait I’m sorry they had scenes… for like 6 second maybe…. Lucky commented on Liz being right (thank you for finally listening) …. And Lulu supported Nikolas and Rebeca… can you say Lulu the new Rebecca and Nikolas prop. We are so proud Lulu. Julie has amazing talents, please lets not make her a prop…. please. (already killed Georgie… please give Lulu a storyline away from his horrible excuse for a half brother and his ex-love double)

And please Liz and Lucky find out that Ethan and Rebecca are working together so They can finally get together and Nikolas can dump her… or she can dump him… I’d rather she dump Nikolas… but get her away from Nikolas and in Ethan’s arms and I’ll be one happy camper and put Greg and Becky on Screen together and I’m in Heaven.

Not a rant just a praze. Johnny is not a cold hearted Zacchara thank you very much. She saved Jason life, he supposed to let him die and he saved someone who could and will kill him once he finds out his invovlment in Micheal shooting. Maybe Johnny can use this to say I saved your ass now spare mine. Truly Johnny just knew it was Claudia who set up the hit from the start, but really didn’t have any invovlment. Yet that knowing broke up Johnny and Lulu. And we get what Johnny and Olivia….. I have nothing with the age difference… I just find it wrong… Johnny is like the Enemy and Sonny is the main mob boss. I just find it wrong. For those enjoy… I don’t and won’t support it sorry. Now Johnny and Liz or Robin that is hott… Though I rather see Liz with Lucky… And blame my friend for the idea of Robin and Johnny… She loves them. I’m sorry She LOVES them. It’s all good because they are hott.

I won’t even go into the Micheal storyline… We’ll be here for weeks. I mean really? Really? It needs to end already.

Two Of A Kind…. Nikolas Need I Say More?

Since when is it a crime for two Actors who have worked together before, work together again? Why is it that when they are working together again they are trying to recreate their ould couple? Personally Putting two actors together who have worked together so well together again does work…. and yes there are time it doesn’t work.

TV and Movies are the same and different all at the same time… but they can both do the same thing pair up two actors who work together well and have great chemistry. Or Actors who got them big ratings or being money. But in movies you don’t go and complain saying they are working together again… because then what is the point of going to see the movie in the first place. In a primietime show. if you bitch and moan about it, then your just wasting your hour or half hour.

It’s just like soaps… actors get moved around and work together all the time. It doesn’t mean they are trying to recreate an old pairing from a different show. Or their fans are just fans of their old pairing. Because truth be told there are pairings out there where the actors have worked together before and no one made a big stink about it… And now I see people making a big stick out of so many couples no a days on two ABC soaps.

Jake and Taylor on AMC because they were Gus and Harly on GL, Matt and Maxie because they were Shelle on DAYS, Nikolas and Rebecca because they were NEM on GH (first), Sonny and Claudia because they were Sonny and Carly on GH (First) … those are the main ones I’ve seen, but really you are going to be all bitchy and moany because these couples once were together.

Truth be told I can’t stand Sonny and Claudia or Nikolas and Rebecca… but that has nothing to do with who they used to be. I just don’t find them entertaining and I can’t stand Nikolas really. So that doesn’t really help with the liking of Rebecca and Nikolas factor…. but really come on Emily’s freakin twin? Why kill of Emily in the first play? What so we can play who is TPTB going to kill off next for the Quartermaine clan? Lila (But actors really passed away so she doesn’t count)… here is the list…. AJ, Justus, Alan, Emily … left we have Tracy, Edward and Monica…. Dillon and Ned and Brooklynn all left… Jason isn’t really a Quartmaine, He’s a Morgan now, but he is still Alan’s son….. Micheal is the Grandchild…. He was shot in the head… Didn’t die just aged. So he can hate his Mother just like Jason hated his family…. Too bad this wasn’t ten years after Jason had his accident, maybe then it might of made a little more sense…. wait who am I kidding… Carly the only on that NEVER gave up on Micheal… did I say NEVER… is the one Micheal hates… and the reason he’s shot. Micheal is all buddy buddy with them… how sick and twisted it that?

But getting off topic here… slightly lot my tran of thought.

I was going on about why kill of Emily if you had plans to bring Natty back if she wanted back? A twin only works so well for so long… but really I didn’t know I was Emily’s twin… too You have to keep this to yourself. You know Rebecca had so much passion in her when she first came back… you stuck her with Nikolas TPTB and ruined that passion. Rebecca was different she had edge. She had attitude… and now she just reminds me of Emily. Add Nikolas in the Mix… which by the way love how Nadine is forgotten about? … And Rebecca tranforms into Emily. So Nikolas can obsess over her too… Because that is what Cassadine men do right? They obsess over women till is kills them. (Nikolas looks like your time is short)

Going off topic again…. I can’t remember if it was Nikolas or someone else, but they said Nikolas has been more happy or happier since he’s been with Rebecca and since Emily’s passing. Gag me please? Really TPTB you expect us (the fans) to believe Nadine basicly saving Nikolas and their romance was nothing? It was just a fling didn’t matter, Nikolas still madly in love with Emily? Please give me a break. Nikolas cared about Nadine. Listen to Nadine… if he wasn’t for Nadine, Spencer would most likely either be livving with Alexis (who could be a better parent to the boy) or with Lucky or in foster care, because Nikolas would of chosen to died with Emily then live with his son. Wait did I just say that right? Nikolas rather of died to be with Emily then live to be with his Son? Yup I did… Sorry Nico fans you got screwed over. Speaking of Spencer? Anyone see him… General Hosital: Missing Persons. Have you seen Courtney’s Son? Nikolas doesn’t like taking care of him…. Helena he’s all yours.. I’m sure you could rasie him so much better. yes I just said that evil Helena. So I have a medal for Nikolas… well rather an award… WORST PARENT OF THE YEAR : Nikolas Cassadine. And Liz you thought you were a horrible/bad parent…. you should get tips from Nikolas on that one… Because you are so much better….

But really? Let us forget all about Nikolas and Courtney and Nikolas and Nadine and make it all about Nikolas and Emily and now Nikolas and Rebecca (Emily’s twin) Cause the fans sure as hell will not notice at all. (Wait I noticed) Flaw in your plan sorry.

And Sonny and Claudia? All I have to say is Sarah Brown awesome actress, love her as Claudia… but right now Claudia needs to go. Jason please just take her out… Maybe bring back the Claudia that came before Micheal’s shooting? On second thought can we like redo that whole storyline. And have Jason let Carly got get Micheal from the warehouse. So that way Micheal never got hurt… Micheal never being Jason 2.0 and Sonny never married Claudia. I liked that idea.

And Maybe Jolu fans can be happy too because that would be that Johnny and Lulu never broke up because Johnny never had a huge secret he was hiding from her. Speaking of Secrets… Back to Nikolas…. I think this is now a rant about Nikolas, but that is okay….. Not only is Nikolas worst parent of the year, but he’s best secret keeper too. A hold year he’s kept Micheals shooting a secret. Kind of doubts the whole Nikolas loves Emily more then life it’s self. Because if Emily knew the truth wouldn’t she tell Jason or Sonny or JASON… And yet Nikolas has stayed quiet for a year now. Can Sonny kill you two for just knowing the whole truth and never telling anyone? Or has that whole Nikolas knows the truth been forgotten too? Your guess is as good at mine.

I strayed so off topic… but when you got a rant you have to rant… But seeing how my point so how got lost in the rant, I won’t bore you with trying to some it up… Or maybe I can just say this… suck up the whole these pairs have worked together before… because chances are it’s bond to happen…. I mean look at Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans. They played Super Couples Steve and Kayla on Days and then played Stefan Cassadine and Kathrine Bell on General Hospital and then went back to Days… And Laura Wright and Ted King…. they were a couple on The Loving and then paired up again on GH are Carly #3 and Lorenzo… Can’t think of anymore right now, but I am sure there are more.. it happens… you just have to learn to deal with it. Ride it out… or just stop watching?

Because again sometimes actors who were paired up again on a new soap or show… they either work or they don’t… Most of the time they work it’s because they would together so well that Chemistry just come off the screen and you can really get into the scenes… or it just falls flat and you hate it. But really you just got and enjoy it. or enjoy what you can and stop bitching and moaning because truly it’s your time you are wasting… (I’m ranting, but I enjoy the time I waste and know it won’t change anything) so if you bitch and moan hoping it will chance anything, you are wrong….

General Hospital: Proposing a Sulotion

Find Our Way Back

For forty five years General Hospital has captured the hearts of millions of viewers, pulling them in with intense nonstop action and cliffhangers, romances and break ups, friendships and rivalries. Each brings something more to the stories being told. And what started as a half hour black and white program turned into an hour color program that defined a generation. To this day General Hospital is still capturing the hearts of millions, but in a new way not a half hour program of a hospital and emotions, but an hour of violence, deaths and unnecessary harm to children. General Hospital isn’t known for its untimely deaths, but instead for its romance, adventure, mystery and the families. Something General Hospital should work its way back to.

General Hospital was created by Frank and Doris Hursly and it premiered on April 1st, 1963 (ABC) as a black and white half hour show. The show was centered around a hospital with nurses and doctors and gave a love story that could never happen, but the fans always wanted to see happen. It grew into so much more, giving viewers romance and more than just a hospital, bringing in new families and faces and much more drama from affairs of the heart to marriage, back stabbing and cheating, from stealing and lying to a couldn’t miss hour on TV. With each new day a new problem is raised and a new story to unfold, bringing in new things, first times and controversial issues and bringing awareness to viewers and a voice of reaching out, as well as a show that could entertain.

Every weekday at 3pm eastern fans tune in to watch General Hospital. Some have been watching it for years and some just starting to watch it, but however long they still tune for the same reasons; the love storylines between two people who could never be together, the families that just can’t stop fighting, or the happy moments of a couple finally getting their wish to be parents. Now instead of those moments the viewers get the moments of fire ripping through building after building, beating and attacking of innocent fathers and children all because they have a connections to the mob. General Hospital is based in a New York town called Port Charles. It wasn’t always a peaceful town, but now it’s a town, full of violence where the characters have to pick a side and have to be careful with whom they are seen because they never know when that person could be the reason they’re hurt or killed.

Somewhere in the last fifteen years the show became more focused on the next mob war than on the next family Christmas, turning storyline after storyline into a mob war or something related to the mob. Since 2003 there have been more violence, deaths and mob related deaths in the past three years than weddings. Four of the victims weren’t even out of high school and one wasn’t even in high school yet. Two other victims were General Hospital soap vets that had been on the show since the 70’s. A few others were part of the big family the Quartermaines, the family that has been around for the last 30 years, which makes them part of history. Only now more have been killed off that it’s come to the point where the fans will start betting which Quartermaine will be next to be killed off. And that shouldn’t be something the fans should be watching every day. The more deaths shown on General Hospital the more they’ll start to remember the deaths rather than the moments that made daytime history.

One proposal is to bring back the old General Hospital to replace the present day General Hospital. This would not completely remove the mob from the show, but to reintroduce some of what made General Hospital such a hit for 45 years. In 1981, 30 million viewers tuned in to see Luke and Laura get married (Special). Those were some of the highest ratings they had and the producers even got Liz Taylor to guest star as the evil character Helena Cassadine who didn’t want Luke and Laura, fan favorites, together. The ratings had nothing to do with mob wars or mob deaths. The ratings were high because of the wedding. In 2006 the show honored the wedding by having Luke and Laura get remarried and giving the fans the happy ending they always wanted to see. And once again making it the must see wedding of the year. Historical moments like Luke and Laura’s wedding made General Hospital the show it was. In 1998 General hospital celebrated its 35th Anniversary and made a prime time special to showcase 35 years of the show, going through all the weddings, families, the deaths, and how it all began. The special told everything, the core, of what General Hospital really was about. At the end of the special “Luke” Tony Geary, said “As we move to General Hospital 2000 and perhaps the next 35 years, the show remains vital, and true to its core. It’s Characters.”

Another suggestion is to bring more of the romance, family and hospital back into play and tune the mob really down so the mob is only the main storyline once every year or two. For years the show survived on adventure stories and spies catching the bad guys. The mob doesn’t need to be such a big part of General Hospital. It can stay with the show, but fans don’t want to see their favorites killed off every other week. The viewers want to see the couples and families they love end up on top in the end, see the well loved characters get the girl or get the guy and watch the characters overcome big obstacles in their life and end up stronger together then a part. But the violence has replaced all the wonderful heartwarming storylines. Now there are the three major crime families, Corinthos, Alcazar and Zacchara, on everyday instead of the well loved families and the ones part of history, the Quartermaines, the Spencers, the Scorpios, and the Webbers.

In 2004, the story of a romance began. It had been a long year, but somewhere along the way the characters Jason Morgan and Samantha McCall fell for each other. It started out as a lie to protect a family and turned into something more. Along the way they were caught in mob violence and the ex that just wouldn’t go away, but they overcame it all only to lose it all in 2006, when Sam was shot in the back. It ended up costing Sam and Jason more than just losing a happy ending, but ruining a marriage and an engagement. Sam had been shot because she was engaged to Jason and Jason had taken over the Corinthos business.

Now it could be said that the violence and action is entertaining and it brings in more viewers, that it gives the show an edge or make the show different from the other daytime shows, but how entertaining is it to watching a 10 year old getting shot in the head? Or a 10 year old shooting someone or owning a gun? A baby getting kidnapped over and over again? Or watching people die every other week? Those may be good for a block buster movie, but General hospital is viewed by mostly women, that have families of their own or that want to have children or the women, who are teenagers, what kind of message does that send to them?

For years many other daytime dramas have survived with nothing but family related drama and romance. No matter how many ways it could be said that General Hospital is different from the rest and is more entertaining with all the mob violence, the ratings aren’t showing that it’s more entertaining. The ratings are dropping because of the mob storylines has caused more and more viewers to stop watching the show. And the shows that are more based about the dysfunctional lives of families, friends and loved one get the higher rating and more viewers.

Over time the more deaths that are shown the less that people will remember the happy parts of the show. Two deaths that are very easy to remember because they are unforgettable. The first one was the death of Georgie Jones. She was the youngest daughter to the legendary Felicia and Frisco Jones and was loved by everyone. Her death came a week before Christmas and she was killed because she could identify the Text Message Killer, a man who killed and hurt everyone that had hurt him or his family. In 2008 it was later found out her sister Maxie Jones was the one that was supposed to die that night, but Georgie went to protect her sister. It was uncalled for and a stupid mistake on the writers call, because Georgie could have been written out and said to be going away to school or reconnecting with her parents, just anything but death. The other death isn’t really a death, but it is a child in a permanent coma. Michael Corinthos the third son of Carly Corinthos and A.J. Quartermaine, and his adopted father was Sonny Corinthos. Michael was with his father Sonny at the Corinthos warehouse watching a shipment of coffee beans coming in, when a hit man tried to take out Sonny. Sonny dove out of the way, but the bullet bounced off something and hit Michael, leaving him in a permanent coma. He was only 10 years old.

General Hospital has been known for many different things over the years, from giving HIV to a character or a character dying of AIDs to the first daytime soap to hire a Middle Eastern actress for a contract role and doing an HIV pregnancy storyline. But two things that the show is best known from are the Nurses Ball and B.J’s heart storyline. For a while they put on this show called the Nurses Ball. It was to raise money for AID’s awareness. It was always this big show that had the entire cast involved. They’d gather together and many would put on different acts from singing and dancing to acting or acting like a fool, all to raise money for research and raise awareness of AIDs.

One of their biggest storylines was a sad and heart wrenching storyline. It was about two families and their losses and that had nothing to do with the mob at all. Maxie Jones was sick in the hospital and the only way to save her was a heart transplant, but there was no luck in finding a donor. But that all changed when Maxie’s Cousin BJ Jones was hurt in an accident. On her was to school the van that takes her was hit by a drunk driver and it left BJ brain dead. B.J’s parents Bobbie Spencer and Tony Jones decided to give to Maxie BJ’s heart because they were a match. It was such a powerful storyline that people will always remember it, because it was a historic death.

Now today the show is all about the next big mob war, or the next big mob hit, focusing on what Jason Morgan, Sonny Corinthos and the Zaccharas will do next. In late September of 2008 Sonny Corinthos was set to marry his high school sweetheart, but before they could even get to start the wedding she was shot, something you would expect to happen is an ex boyfriend or girlfriend or even an ex-wife crashing the wedding and saying stop the wedding or just the bride getting cold feet, not a bride getting shot before she could even marry her groom.

Along with the wedding shooting, this year General Hospital did a holiday special for Thanksgiving, or rather the day before and it wasn’t the traditional Quartermaine Thanksgiving where they bicker with each other and their cook ends up giving their dinner away so they end up with a Thanksgiving Pizza. It was an episode that said what would have happened if two characters didn’t meet when they did, where they would be? The episode just was very uplifting and had nothing to do with the mob, just a simple love story here and there. Where in the end they two people it was really about end up together anyways. A type of storyline like that is what draws viewer’s in. Grabs their attention and tells him there is something worth watching.

For forty five years General Hospital has stayed strong with millions of viewers tuning in everyday, multiple Emmy’s and Emmy award winning actors and actresses in the cast. Along with guest stars and the first to do something other daytime shows wouldn’t think of. Somewhere along the way the show has gone from a daytime drama with romance and adventure to a daytime mob drama with violence and death. The show has been on for so long that just to change it into this mob enhanced program just to be different from the rest isn’t needed. With just the right mix of everything from storylines and characters the show can once again get back to its roots and still remain on top.
